Technical lead cylindrical Mac Pro

The second-generation Mac Pro was released in December 2013. Apple states that it achieves twice the overall performance of the previous model. It has a new cylindrical design and takes up less than one-eighth the volume of the previous model. It features up to a 12-core Xeon E5 processor, dual AMD FirePro D series GPUs, and PCIe-based flash storage. There is updated wireless communication and support for six Thunderbolt displays through the Thunderbolt 2 ports, and an HDMI port.
