Products

Caitlin joined OpenAI in 2024 to help rebuild its robotics program. She led robotics hardware and operations, hiring and scaling the teams working on OpenAI’s first physical products.

At Meta, Caitlin was the company's first consumer electronics hire and led AR glasses hardware, including the team responsible for Orion. Before that she headed VR hardware, leading product design and integration for Quest 2, Quest, Go, and Rift S, and the mechanical engineering team that shipped the original Oculus Rift and Touch controllers.

Caitlin was a technical lead at Apple on the Mac Pro and MacBook Air, and was part of the original unibody MacBook Pro team. She holds hardware patents from both Apple and Meta.
